badge454 Posted January 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2006 Will the noise from the Windjammer filter down to a deck 10 starboard side room? We are currently on deck 8 but the chance to go to deck 10 to be on the same deck as my parents. B454
sas80 Posted January 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2006 We were on deck 10 of the serenade, right under the basketball court. Never heard a peep....
Shoreline23 Posted January 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2006 On the Mariner, we stayed in a cabin on the starboard side under the front of the Windjammer and never heard a sound from above. If I remember correctly, much of the dining areas of Windjammer is carpeted so you wouldn't hear the furniture being moved around and, generally, there is no one jumping up and down (except maybe the first day from being overjoyed). It was convenient being near the Windjammer anyway. Enjoy your cruise.
Oliver Sudden Posted January 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2006 It's a good idea to travel with earplugs, although we never use them in our stateroom, but find them extremely necessary in the theater, and on deck, since one cannot maintain sufficient distance from the accursed loudspeakers and stay aboard.
