Transportation help -FLL to Dwntown Miami Hotel

Suggestions for transportation from Fort Lauderdale airport to Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Miami; 9 adults with luggage.

 

1230am 2/26/06 Sunday morning (if this makes a difference).

 

According to hotel's website FLL is 15 miles away with cab fare $35 approx. Is this accurate? Any better options?

No, that's NOT accurate... A cab from FLL to the Courtyard in downtown Miami will NOT cost $35!!! It's roughly a 35-45 minute drive and a CAB will cost more like $75-90 EACH, for 9 people with luggage you'll need 3 of them.

Another option would be Top Shuttle, they advertise $125 for an 8-10 passenger van from FLL to Miami. ;) http://topshuttle.com/rates.php

Bequia, $125 seems like a fair price to drive us to downtown Miami.
