Family with 2 year old

Most children going on a cruise at that age are most happy left on the ship in the childrens center! They get tired very quickly being drug around with their parents. Perhaps your child isn't in the "terrible twos", never whines or makes life miserable for others around them! If you take your child off the ship with you, take them to the beach with plenty of sun lotion! Please don't make the rest of us on our vacation be as miserable listening to a 2 year old as you will be. Most kids aren't old enough to enjoy a cruise until school age.

Wow! Thanks for that awesome inspiring advice! Since we lost our last baby to cancer, it is really hard to leave our 2 year old. That is why we opted for a cruise so we can bond with our daughter who we are so thankful for, terrible, whiny two's and all.

Magen's Bay beach is a great place for young children. The bay is well protected and there is little to no surf, so it's great if your daughter likes the water. There are bathrooms, showers and changing areas, but shady areas can be hard to come by. So you should take that into consideration when planning how long you might stay.
