Discovery Baltic cruise in September - port change

Hi

 

We've had a letter from TUI advising us that the stop in Oslo has been cancelled and we are going to Gothenburg instead. Such a shame.

 

We are planning on doing the Hop on Hop off bus or just walk around.

 

It looks like we are docking in the port furthest from the city and wondered if anyone knows if TUI provide free shuttles to the city.

We visited Gothenburg with Marella Discovery in Aug and yes Tui supply a shuttle bus at £8 per person and you need it, the city is about 12 or so km away. At the port there is a Volvo museum and if you like that sort of thing our friends visited and recommend it.

I forgot to mention that Tui have also changed our port in Denmark from Kalundberg to Copenhagen. Again, a bit disappointed as we've been to Copenhagen before and although we enjoyed it immensely we were looking forward to a walk around Kalundberg.

Pity that because we found the sail down the fjord to Oslo was very nice
