Question about Canival Elation Suites?

I am new to Carnival. Taking my 90 year old mom for a birthday cruise. We can book adjoins cabins and pay the single supplement or have three in the grand vista suite. Interested in pros and cons. Also, is their a curtain to close between the sleeping area and living area?

Idk about the suite as I’ve never had the opportunity to enjoy that but I’d say with 3 adults I’d like to have more than 1 bathroom. So, that would be a con to the suite (of course you can utilize the showers in the spa as many do). The pro would be, it’s a suite!!!

 

Also, it wasn’t a grand suite and it was on the Fantasy (similar ship) but we did go into a regular suite on debarkation day just to “look” and I did not notice any type of divider of any kind.

If you look on youtube, you can see an Elation Grand Vista Suite video. There should be plenty of room for 3 adults.

 

Note that the bathroom has a tub, not shower.

There is no curtain in the Grand Suites on Paradise and I think all Fantasy class are the same.

Go to cruisedeckplans.com they have all the detailed plans of all cruise ships plus photos and videos of cabins, public places from past cruisers. I now use this site to choose my cabin. It might help you decide.
