Is Shopping worth it for Canadians?

Just wondering if any Canadians find decent deals with our weak Canadian Dollar, or is it not worth it having to basically pay 25% right off the top to make up for the dollar?

 

Trying to decide if we should go shopping or spend the day at the beach.

The wife finds that makeup is GOOD SAVINGS ON BOARD. You have to know the prices st home.

Both on board and off. Everyone raves about the jewelry stores in port but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for us.

Depends. Liquor obviously is cheaper..... my daughter bought a Coach purse on board in April and it was quite a bit cheaper and no tax so even with the exchange she saved about 20 percent

No tax onboard. Shops not open in port so no local tax.
