Cruise Deals??

I have a question -- I will try to keep it at broad as possible not to violate any of the board rules.

 

There is a certain website (that advertises bargains here on cruisecritic) -- offering the same price for a cruise that Carnival's TA quoted me but throws in some drink coupons and champagne...

 

Is there some sort of catch to offers like this ? or is this fairly common practice ? I worried about getting ripped off.

As long as the non-Carnival agent quoted you the full price (don't forget port charges and taxes, etc...) you should have a legitimate deal. Usually the TA's can throw in the little extra as an incentive.
