spongerob Posted January 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2006 You can reserve multiple spots at EZCruise parking. It sounds like you'll need two.

kftw Posted January 13, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2006 What are the other options for parking in Galveston? Thanks!January 10th, 2006 10:20 AM I understand there are several hotels/motels that offer parking if you stay the nite before. We will be coming a day early and can't decide. Have heard pros & cons for both. k
TexasAggieCruiser Posted January 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2006 We are probably just going to stay with some family in Houston on Friday night and then drive in on Saturday morning. One of the posts I read said that getting to the ship and actual parking was really bad. How early can we check-in? Is there parking at the pier? Any idea the rates and security? Getting to the ship and parking is a breeze assuming there's not a holiday event such as Mardi Gras. Sometimes an especially warm sunny day can increase traffic on I-45. Boarding usually begins about 12:15. I wouldn't arrive too early. The wait area in the terminal is uncomfortable and without snack bars, etc. It's more like a warehouse. Disembarking traffic around the piers, however, is often a nightmare. Only thing to do is grin and bear it.
