GUAR docs check in question

I have a question for anyone who may have done a guarantee cabin. We booked a guar balcony. Received our docs. They say to proceed to VIP check in upon arrival. Is this where they send everyone with a guar and no cabin assignment, or is there a chance we are being bumped up to a suite and don't know it yet? Leave is a few days, but carnival site still shows GUAR for cabin assignment.

Here's the latest on how to check your room number when you have received your docs.

 

If you have your docs, look at the sign & sail page, on the back of this page, at the very bottom, there should be a long number, the first part of the number is your booking number, followed by your cabin number. I hope this helps. have a great cruise!!!!!!

I looked, and if this is right we are in a suite, and our guar was for a balcony. Hope this stays! Thanks for the info!
