Dry cleaning on the Constellation - is there time?

We're sailing on the Connie this Saturday. Last night, my husband pulled out his tux and discovered that it is very much in need of a cleaning (clearly, we don't cruise nearly often enough!). Since we leave here early Friday I'm afraid to bring it to the cleaners in case we don't get it back in time ... we live in a small town so drycleaning services are a bit limited. Is there enough time to get it cleaned on the ship between embarkation and the first formal night? (Does anyone know when the first formal night is? I'm guessing maybe Monday since it's a day at sea). We've never used the dry cleaning services on the ship so I'd appreciate any info that you can share.

They offer a one day service for about 150% of standard charge.

Every time I've sent something to the laundry, I've always gotten it back the next day without paying any extra charge.

to give to your cabin attendnat or butler when you board. They will have it back to you before the first formal night. I did the same thing on Connie in November and it was for the base fee only.

Thanks to everyone who replied ... the dry cleaning prices are so good I'm tempted to bring a few extra things from my closet just for the cleaning! :D

Same day service is 150% of normal rates. Something like in by 9 out by 5 - I believe details are on the laundry slips.

 

On our last cruise (third on the Summit) we decided that it didn't make sense to send any clothing that needed it out for cleaning before packing. Figured we might as well do it on board so it would be wrinkle free. First thing we did was pull together three batches for (1) same day service, or (2) regular service, or (3) pressing only.

The Dry Cleaning Prices were cheaper onboard than I can do at home. I agree -- I take every onboard to be done. Also do the tux shirts there so they are pressed and ready to go.
