moonvine Posted January 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2006 I tried to contact one operator and they are sold out for my cruise date:( . Can anyone recommend other operators?
phantom728 Posted January 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2006 Not sure which operator you already tried. We are booked through Island Marketing, website: www.grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com for their discover scuba course, which also includes a dive at stingray reef. Good Luck! bruce-r Posted January 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2006 http://www.neptunesdivers.com and if Casey can't accommodate you, ask her for a recommendation. I trust her judgement.
moonvine Posted January 12, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted January 12, 2006 Thanks Bruce, I emailed her. I may just not get to dive this time. We did Discover Scuba in Cozumel with Eagle Ray Divers and enjoyed it immensely. Had no idea that other operator would sell out so quickly. There are 3 dive shops that are very near shore dive sites and all 3 offer discover scuba. http://www.divetech.com has the better shore dive site, but they are a bit more expensive and you'll have to take a taxi there. Both http://abanksdivers.com.ky/ and http://www.edenrockdive.com/ are at Eden Rock, a short walk from where the ship tenders dock in Georgetown.
