Has anyone used hotwire too booke a motel in Miami

I did use hotwire in a panic before xmas because I didn't want to be bothered with bargining back and forth on priceline and prices for miami in feb. when we were going were getting very high.

I specified downtown miami as I 've never been before and didn't want to spend a fortune in cabfare being farther out from the pier.

I also think I choose three star as well -

I got Fortune House- read reviews on tripadvisor.com- sounds horrible- spoke to hotwire yesterday and discussed my concerns - we are traveling with children- he did call the hotel itself and spoke with management- said to go there - look at the rooms and if I'm really not satisfied to call hotwire from the lobby and they would try to work out something for me-

what's left in miami is really expensive so I'm praying that we can do it for the one night- hope this helps -
