jreeves628 Posted January 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2006 Is the dining room open for breakfast the last morning before disembarkation or will we have to go to the windjammer?

wrp96 Posted January 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2006 I've always eaten in the dining room on the last morning and everything has always been available.
CruisinDawn Posted January 12, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2006 Every cruise we have been on the dining room is open. Only food not available is room service in our experience. BonVoyage Dawna
SunnieD Posted January 13, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Serenade's dining room was open with full menu, but it did not seem like full service from staff, kinda ready for people to go. I enjoyed a nice breakfast though, we were late disembarkation.
springtxbill Posted January 13, 2006 #9 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Always open and a nice way to have a final meal with any tablemates or other friends you have met on the cruise. Service is not that great and they are in pretty much a rush to get you out.
Boo's Mom Posted January 13, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 13, 2006 ditto: dining room always open + all food always available. A note on the service: This last morning is always interesting to me. Real life is knocking @ the door and that is kinda sad. All tipping (wait staff anyway) has been distributed and the staff in the dining room know that they are not working to get a tip from you. Their service often reflects this. Not bad, just not what you have experienced all week. And, it is completely obvious....how tired they are. They do not pretend with a smile...as they have been doing all week. I will say, that on our very first cruise.....after having this "last breakfast"...and seeing our waiters (that we have had all week) in the dining room serving breakfast...and seeing how exhausted they were....: We sought them out and gave them an additional tip. These guys (and gals) work so hard and they work very, very long hours.
