We would love to learn how to play bridge; are both card savvy. We play pinochle and most other card games. Both are avid readers, love stimulating intelligent conversations an have a good sense of humor. Are a tad limited as we both have dicey hips but plan on our own shore excursions and doing some walking.

I'm 55, and cruise with my daughter, age 23 (my husband has the been-there-done-that attitude) at least once a year. I've been on about 18 cruises so far. I am a Christian, bibliophile, soon to be retiree, avid exerciser, and miss playing cards (bid whist) and board games (remember Po-Ke-No, Scrabble, Monopoly--fast paced, Chinese Checkers, Trouble). We went on Independence of the Seas in March 2013 and I haven't planned another cruise. thinking of Celebrity, which I understand has no smoking in its casino. My last great read was The Racketeer by John Grisham. My favorite genre is crime/mystery. Any suggestions?
