We recently cruised with Royal Caribbean and they did not post any Friends of Bill W meetings on the daily itinerary. When I enquired, they said it was not there responsibility and they had no obligation to help with this.

They suggested I put a 3x5 card on the "community bulletin board" and that we could meet in the bars or the library, both which had no privacy and were otherwise unsuitable. Lets all write to the cruise lines and tell them how important this is for us.

I did post and saw 6 people on the 1st cruise and 4 on the 2nd. (back to back cruises)

Hey rascals....just happened across your post, decided to respond. I'm booked for a Princess Brit Isles cruise next May, 2013. Was curious about meetings on board a princess ship. Last cruise was to hawaii and back on Hollandia America. The set us up with a VERY nice private room, posted the meeting time/place in the daily house organ, although times varied each afternoon. Was told that our meetings are standard fare on Hollandia. Anybody know about Princess in this regard???

In response to my Oct 3 post, I found out about AA meetings on Princess ships. Princess has daily meetings on all ships with time and location posted on the daily events sheet. See 'ya there!

DH and I are going on a RCI cruise in March. I will only be 9 months sober then and hope that there will be meetings onboard. How do I ensure this happens?

My wife and I will be sailing Freedom of the Seas on December 14. We will be checking for a meeting onboard. This is our second sailing on the Freedom and on our first there was a great group at the meeting everyday. We hope to meet some more good friends there.
