TrentS...one more question

Ok, Trent..I have followed your advice so far..one final decision to make. I now have rooms reserved at the Sheraton Yankee Clipper and Irelands Inn( who has very positive reviews on travel sites) I need to decide between the two which to go with. Sheraton room is unknown to location/view and is only $35 more a night than Ireland, but Irelands is a full ocean front with balcony. Based on possible cab fares from airport and back to cruise port and what is available in the area that we could walk to as far as restaurants or quick pick up items...which place would you recommend?

I haven't been in Ireland Inn's rooms, but both hotels are on the old side. Yankee Clipper could use a remodel but it was clean, just old.

As for location though Yankee Clipper wins hands down - It's in a great location! Ireland Inn is much farther north, and would be a much more expensive cab ride from the airport and to the port than Yankee Clipper.

There's nothing within walking distance of Ireland Inn either, you would probably want to rent a car if you stayed up there.

From Yankee Clipper you can walk a few blocks north along the beach to some restaurants and shops, or you can catch the Water Taxi about a block away.
