NCL Jade vs Rccl Enchantment

Hi I was hoping some NCL experts can give me advice. I want to book a 4 night cruise in January and Jade/Enchantment are about the same price. I have sailed Enchantment twice and it was a great trip. Small older ship refurbished and had a lot of bells and whistles for a little ship. It’s a great value but may want try something new.

Jade stops in Key West which is a huge bonus. How is Great Stirrup Cay vs Coco Cay ? Do the bars seem crowded on the ship since the drink package can be free for all of the drinkers ? I read bad reviews about the food. Is specialty dining good? (I know that is subjective) Not expecting 5 star ! Just decent is fine.

Are the slot machines updated and modern ? Or still have the old school machines ?

How is the entertainment ?

     Thanks for the help !

I've been on both ships.  I would definitely go with the Jade.   It's nicer, better updated and less crowded feeling.   The Enchantment went thru a retro fit probably 10 years ago and added in lots of cabins where common space used to be so that resulted in more passengers crowded into less space.     I also think the food is better on the Jade.   I know food changes from ship to ship year to year and you can't really count on that but I was very underwhelmed with the Enchantment.

The drink packages don't make for more crowded bars.   People drink on vacation.
