Marriott Hollywood Beach???

Has anyone recently stayed at this "new" Marriott in Hollywood FL? What were the things you liked the most. Anything you were very disappointed in?

It seems that no one has stayed here recently. Can anyone comment about the area? Is the beach nice? Looking for more current feedback - TripAdvisor posting are all prior to the hurricane.

It's located directly on one of the nicest beaches in South Florida. Between the hotel and the beach is the 2.5 mile "broadwalk" perfect for walking, jogging or bicycling. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, the menu is unlike any I've seen at any other Marriott property. Just about every room has an ocean view. The location is safe both day and night. ;)

Bequia, thanks so much for your information. Makes me feel much better about our reservation. Does the area really require a rental car or are there enough alternatives for family dining on the boardwalk?

No rental car needed, there are ample restaurants within walking distance to suit any taste. You'll really be surprised by the hotels menu as well. Excellent.
