Marella Spirit ,probably last arrival at Piraeus?

Farewell to an elegant ship, probably her last arrival at Piraeus . It was reported in a Greek shipbroking office S&P report that she was sold for demo

Yes we have good memories of our cruises on this ship......I wonder what will happen to her now??? Anybody know?

She is in Pireus, apparently about to sail to India for scrapping.  We were on her final Marella sailing last week and, although we were disappointed with her in some ways and thought many furnishings needed replacing, we didn't feel she merited scrapping.

So sad..

Very sad to see her go. Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on her with a blessing at sea. Also celebrated my wife's fiftieth birthday. These are just two of the many happy memories from numerous cruises on her.

We were told by one of the Officers on Spirits final sailing that Celebration was now staying with Marella for a further 5 years.
