bigmacfan Posted April 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2004 Are Miller Lite plastic bottles available on board?? We thought about taking those this year instead of cans, but wanted to make sure they are available for purchase. Thanks! HighSeaslover Posted April 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2004 I can't recall if they were on board or not, but I will tell you that we smuggled a case of beer and my husband delivered some to me, up by the pool all the time and no one said a word. Our cabin steward always filled our cooler with ice and put more beer in there when we were running low. The Conquest ROCKS... you'll have a GREAT time. We have been on 3 cruises already and have another booked for September. Out of all the Conquest was by far the best.... I wish I was going with you... Have a great time and take what ever beer you like best no one really cares. dream2much Posted April 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2004 Yes, they serve Miller Lite in the long neck plastic bottles. It's available throughout the ship. By the way, only plastic bottles (Miller) or cans (other domestic) are allowed by the pool. No glass is allowed in the pool areas. So, if you order Coronas...... it's delivered to you in plastic cups (usually those plastic pilars). I once saw a guy order a "bucket of beer" of Coronas. He recieved four plastic pilars in a bucket of ice! (LOL) Next Cruise(s)....... CruiseFever Posted April 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2004 Count your blessings! Beer selections is one area where Carnival really excels over some of the competition. On our Golden Princess cruise last month they did not have Corona. It was Dos XX or nothing. I could live with DD wineing about no Fruit Punch but no Corona was a major problem! I adapted though Here's more on booze smuggling: http://www.lifeiscruising.com/secret_booze_smuggling_tips_page Happy Cruising Chris www.LifeIsCruising.com Next up: Caribbean Princess 06/04 Star Princess 10/04 Carnival Spirit 12/
