Sheffie Posted January 13, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2006 I always pack wine in my luggage. They have no idea what kind of wine it is. I have NEVER had a problem.

winncove Posted January 14, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Can there be a problem taking alcohol on the plane? Have always driven to ports before. What about the laws of going across state lines and also does it need to be in carryons to prevent pressure problems in checked luggage? TIA
Happy ks Posted January 14, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 14, 2006 I've never had any problems taking along a few bottles of wine. Yes, you can carry bottles of wine onto the plane. All you have to do is decide if you want to carry that extra weight.
Sheffie Posted January 14, 2006 #9 Share Posted January 14, 2006 We have packed wine in our luggage for years. I wouldn't take champagne, though!
Nliedel Posted January 14, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 14, 2006 The official RCI technical answer, when I asked is, "No". Then I was told that if I did I would pay corkage fees. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I took two bottles they don't carry and no one said boo to me. Get it straight and make ONE official policy and STICK TO IT. Thank you. Rant off. icanflossu Posted January 14, 2006 #11 Share Posted January 14, 2006 So, I've read all these posts a millions times. We want to bring a box of 12 bottles on in a wine case thing. We plan on checking it on the plane and then sending it through our checked luggage with RCI. Am I okay doing this?
