Balcony question

Recommended Posts

I just read a Miracle review on another site and they had 2 extended balcony cabins next to each other. They were able to remove the divider to make one big balcony and go between the 2 rooms through the balcony doors. My question is...can are balcony dividers removeable or just on extended balconies? We have 2 8A cabins next to each other and that would be great if we could make one big balcony.

Yes, the balcony dividers can be opened but only by the room stewards (I think). It requires a special key or something. I believe you can have them open them after you get on board. Ask your room steward as soon as you can find him/her.

If they are like the dividers on the Victory a big alum wrench is all you need.

Green eyed Lady,
All you have to do when you board is for the parties in both cabins to go to the Pursur's desk and request that the dividers either be left open or be opened if they have already been closed. The room steward cannont do it and it does require the authorization of the pursur. It is no problem at all to do this. We've done it and they are happy to accomodate the request.

We were on the Legend in March. We were told they only allow 20 of these doors to be opened and were too late. Spent too much time tracking down the cabin steward just to be told we need to go to the pursurs desk.
