JS on QM2 or OS on Brilliance in the Med?

I am narrowing the search for our cruise to the Mediterranean to two choices:

 

Choice #1:

QM2 Junior Suite with Grill Class Amenities on September 12 with the following itinerary:

 

South Hampton

Vigo, Spain

Barcelona

Cannes

Florence

Rome

Gibraltar

Lisbon

4 Sea Days!

 

Choice #2

Brilliance of the Seas Owner's Suite with Concierge Amenities on October 2 with the following itinerary:

 

Barcelona

Cannes

Florence/Pisa

Rome

Naples/Capri

Venice (Overnight)

Dubrovnik

Athens/ (Overnight)

Istanbul

2 Sea Days

 

Any and all opinions ranging from weather, itinerary, ship, amenities, would be greatly appreciated. This is a really tough decision. This is for my mom's 80th Birthday! She is mobile, and usually quite active.

Neither, really. Both ships are just too darn big, IMHO..... for the ports.

 

I'm not particularly fond of the Brilliance.. and I love the QM2, but in this case, Brilliance has the better itinerary.
