I would verify the schedule before heading out. There are buses to the Northside district, but those buses usually turn around in Hutland to head back to Georgetown, several miles before reaching Rum Point. You can often pay a driver an extra dollar to make small deviations from the regular route. As this is a larger deviation, you should verify that the driver is willing to do this before boarding the bus. But, this does leave the problem of how to get back to your ship. Since bus drivers do not regularly go as far as Rum Point, it is hard to rely on that as a means of return transportation. Taxi drivers do not regularly hang out at Rum point either. In short, you need to arrange your return transport before coming out to Rum Point. Usually, it is just MUCH easier to rent a car. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
