jjs217 Posted December 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2018 My husband and I are going to be on the Quest from Buenos Aires to Manaus (via the Amazon River). I so want to see a Tango show in Buenos Aires prior to cruising, but it just isn't working out. Does anybody out there know if the dancers on board the ship have a Tango show one evening? Thanks. Laylam Posted December 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 9, 2018 I am fairly confident that you will be treated to a Tango show on board in Buenos Aires - we were.
T&C Fulham Posted December 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 9, 2018 If circumstances change and you can get an evening ashore do book Senor Tango. It is a bit off the centre of BA but it is much more special than the other shows and worth the bit of extra effort and (maybe) cost. We would certainly go ahead. A memorable evening. Dusko Posted December 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 9, 2018 We did this trip this year. You will love it. Agree on spending a couple of days in BA ahead of the cruise. There’s lots to see as well as Tango. You could also see Tango in Montevideo from where they claim it originated. (I think it was actually both sides of the river 😉). T&C Fulham Posted December 9, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2018 Senor Tango. I forgot to say you should get the VIP package. You have your own dining room, chef and private balcony for viewing the show. The first shot here is in a more touristy spot. The rest/others are where you need to be going. Frame five is the balcony and frame four our private waiter. http://www.tonygamble.uk/Tango Shows/index.htm
