LB_NJ Posted December 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2018 They are offering a 2 hour All Access tour for $49 on my January Empress sailing. Seems interesting. Anyone been on the tour? Any comments
TBone2K Posted December 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2018 I can't comment on Empress specifically, but most ships offer some variation of this. Include such things as bridge, galley, laundry, theatre, view of engine room (can't go in). If you are interested in those things, then you'll like it. CruiseFanatic223 Posted January 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2019 (edited) As the person above, I can't comment on the Empress' tour, but I did one on the Carnival Dream. I thought it was so neat to see all the behind the scenes stuff. The tour we did showed the galley, behind the theatre, the "I-95" corridor, a crew stateroom, Engine Control room, Bridge, and maybe another spot or two. If any of that seems remotely interesting, I'd definitely do it. I plan on doing the tour on our Empress cruise at the end of this year. Edited January 25, 2019 by CruiseFanatic223 Just realized I bumped the thread. My apologies.
judgeender Posted January 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Did the tour back in December. It was interesting. We did see the Bridge, I-95 corridor, Engine Control Room, provisions area, laundry and galley. Might be forgetting something. We did not get to see behind the theater. The group was split in 2 for the Engine Control room, so we had a bit of down-time waiting for the other group to go and come back. It was very interesting.
