INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS

Recommended Posts

I'm going to taking a cruise in March 2019 on the Independence of the Seas.  I wanted to know if anyone has any information on the ship and if it as a steam room or sauna in the spa.  Also, I will be staying in cabin 1688.  It is on the deck 10 in AFT port side.  Any additional insight on the room would also be appreciated.

Thanx

Was on Indy last week for the first time and had a similar cabin - 622 on deck 9 which is also aft/port.  View was excellent - straight down to the water.  From the balcony you could sometimes hear the bands playing at the pool, otherwise noise was never an issue.  Took a quick walk around the spa and gym area and seem to recall seeing a sauna.

Just got off the Independence this past Saturday- there is a sign next to the changing room doors that says “changing room, Sauna and Steam room”. (One for Men and another for Women) I did not use them but the sign/doors are inside the gym to the left when entering on deck 11.

Hope that helps!
