Segway Adventure Excursion in Cozumel

I will post this under the port of call board also, but since it is a RCCL excursion I figured I would try here too. We are interested in this excursion, but I noticed that it goes to Chakkanaab Park. Everything I've read so far indicates that the park is still closed and won't be re-open for several months. I called RCCL to question this, and she said that if it was listed on-line on the webpage, then they must still be offering it. Does anyone know anything about this particular tour?

I wondered the same thing :confused: I saw pictures of the park and it looked awful. Last I saw was Feb that the park will open but Dolphin DIscovery won't open until much later. Can't imagine it will be much of a destination. Think I will wait for Key West for the Segway tour.

An update to that article or at least the one above it states partial re-opening in March....Gues we'll have to wait and see how the Caribbean time works out...Feb/Mar= Sept/Oct on Caribbean time :)

Would they take the tour somewhere else? Maybe they have an alternate, not sure.

I am signed up for the excursion when we go on Feb 19th... will let you know where they take us. Segways are fun, fun, fun no matter where they are headed:p

 

Is the Segway tour in Key West through RCCL? I don't recall seeing it on their list, and I'd love info on it!:D

We are leaving Feb 5...The only Segway tour we've seen through RCCL is the Cozumel one to date for this 7 day Western Itin out of Galveston
