Hi,

 

Anyone going on this Baltic Cruise? We are signed up for a Gay Group Cruise. So far about 60 people are in the group. I won't mention the travel agency but lets just say a flute-like intrument is involved:)

Glad to hear we'll have company. We'll be on board too, part of the group you mention (or almost mention), and will have a couple of days on our own in London before and after the cruise. It should be nice!

We are also really excited about this trip. We were on the Golden Princess Cruise of the British Isles last summer and we spent a few days before the cruise in London. We're going to do the same thing for this cruise but we think we might spend the night before the cruise in Dover. That way we won't be rushed the morning we leave for the cruise and Dover Castle sounds like an interesting place to visit. We've just started looking at hotels and excursions and entertainment for our stay in London. We've never visited Windsor Palace or the British Museum even though we've been there twice already. There's so much too see there. We would even like to go back to some places we visited before like Hampton Court and the Tower.

Yes, we're certainly looking forward to the trip too. We have some family obligations that keep us from travelling as often as we might like, so it's important that we spend our vacation time well, and this cruise itinerary looks very good to us. We'll have to leave most of the London touring for another trip since we'll just be there a day before and a day after the cruise. Otherwise, the overnight in Dover would also be our choice -- sounds like you'll have a nice relaxed start to the first cruise day. Hope your plans come together well.
