Snorkeling

Hi I think I posted this in the wrong thread before- has anyone taken the snorkeling excursions in Cabo? To Santa Maria Cove, Or Chileno Bay, or Penguin Island?? Would appreciate any comments, thanks!!! Lynn

To save a little money ... I would go to lovers beach on your own

when you get off the tender,,,, there will be vendors there...

you can get the snorkel gear for like 7$-10$

and then get a water taxi to take you there to lovers beach..2$ per person usually we went in 2003 might be more now . its pretty...

and its so much cheaper than booking an excursion through the cruiseline and only getting 1 hr.. this way you have all the time you want..

and theres people there selling pacifico for 1$ ... it was so worth it..

its nice to see the ships anchored right in front of you.. alot of fish to see as well...we did nickname kick a@@ beach since the waves were awesome...

Take your own gear along..you can buy the set: mask fins snorkel for under 20 bucks @ Costco or Sams Club...cheaper than their "gang" snorkel trips and you get to keep the gear
