scrappycat2 Posted December 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2018 I redeemed quite a few of my credit card points for on board credit. Does anyone know if these credits appear in your room upon arrival? Barclay Card told me I have to take my print out to the desk onboard. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks. I have used the points many times in the past. I have carried my printout with me but never had to use that. The credits always showed up on my balances. You can check them on the statements a couple of days after getting on. Enjoy your cruise.

Kermarkim Posted December 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2018 I have never carried the proof. I have used my funpoints for paying my gratuities, onboard credits and for cash bar and photo cash 3 years in a row. They were on my account as soon as I checked in. Its a nice way to use points, but I have determined that I'm not really getting a bang for my buck. It takes $5,000 of me charging on the card to get $50 bar cash or $7,200 charging on my card to get a general $50 onboard credit. I have since switched to the Delta Skymiles card where I get a mile for every dollar and have already gotten 3 free airline tickets since I use the card for all purchases I make and just pay the card off each month. So I won't be using the Carnival card anymore. However, it was very easy to use. American Express is offering statement credits for booking on Carnival as well. So I plan to use that for my next cruise.
