This is our 2nd cruise so we are still newbies. A couple of questions-

We are staying in cabin 425 Dolphin Deck on the Golden Princess for cruise in March. Does anyone have any pictures or comments about location. I see it is near a door and don't know if that will be a problem or not.

Also we are starboard--is that good or bad for Southern Caribbean route?

Hi: You might get better responses on the Princess board. There should be many folks over there who are familiar with this location. (I would suggest not using the turned down thumb, as this indicates displeasure of some sort - people can be so sensitive....You know what I mean?);)

Good luck, and Have a Great Cruise!!

Hi........................we were in 425 on a different Grand Class ship but it's the same Deck plan. The door is always open so that's no problem (even if were closed). You are mid ship just off the elevator bank. We have had three cabins now, all in this area and never have had any noise problem. It's amazing how quiet the cabins are.

Can't tell you about the port/starboard deal; as we have never sailed the Caribbean but will say the side of the ship we have been on has never mattered much. Seems if the port side is good today, the starboard is good tomorrow! Have fun.
