Recommendations for Independence Day in Honolulu?

My wife, 12-year-old son and I will be on POA leaving on July 6th, 2019.  We've decided to fly in on the 2nd to have time to see the sites on Oahu and participate in Independence Day festivities.

 

Does anyone have recommendations on "not to miss" Independence Day events in/near Honolulu?  What's the best place for fireworks?

Looks like there are fireworks every year at the Ala Moana Center.

Also in 2018, there were events at Pearl Harbor and the PCC. Maybe check this site again in a few months.
