Question re upcoming Quest BA to Manaus cruise

We’re booked on an upcoming 21-day Buenos Aires to Manaus cruise, and I noticed something odd about our embarkation and disembarkation:  though we embark in BA on the afternoon of Sunday, March 17, the ship doesn’t sail until 6:00 PM the following day.  And the same is true for the disembarkation in Manaus:  the ship arrives early on the morning of Saturday, April 6, but disembarkation isn't scheduled until the following morning.

Does anyone know why Seabourn does this?

Thanks!

All true. The Manaus trip is usually a 3 day stop before heading back out of the Amazon. Also, the BA stop can be a difficult one, depending on the mood of the Argentinian government and whether the ship has managed a stop at the Falklands. They have delayed departures previously so a bit of wriggle room is useful - aside from many guests wanting to fly up to Iguazu Falls.
