Clipper Posted April 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I'm leaving on the Elation in a little over a month. I've been reading some of the posts and have noted a few people who have said that they grew tired of the contests and games on deck. Now maybe I'll just turn into Mr. Contest and Game, myself, but where do you go when you just want to look at out at the ocean in a less hectic atmosphere? Lilylady Posted April 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I go to the deck right outside the lido restaurant(Tiffany's). This is the fantail of the ship. You can sit at the tables and watch the waves. It is the best spot on the ship. Cotton Posted April 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2004 You can usually find a nice quiet spot near the rear of the ship. There are also some quiet areas on the side decks. I usually go to a side deck toward the rear of Lido Deck. Not much traffic there. tef43 Posted April 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2004 The funnel deck is pretty quiet, unless liv is up there. I agree with the previous poster and the open deck behind the lido restaurant on the Fantasy-class ships. That is a great location. Tom <--- Curmudgeon of the Seas Eleven cruises so far. Up next: Shhhh, it's a surprise!
imlulu Posted April 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I go to the back pool. I then snag a chair close to railing way in back...I took many naps there on the Sensation and the Fantasy. My 11 yr old loves the games on the Lido! No longer cruiseless...donations still accepted! ;-) Last cruise Sensation 2/17/
