Dry dock pride

Has any one herd whats being done to the pride in dry dock going in april

I have not heard anything but we are on the first cruise after dry dock.

Drydock is scheduled for Feb 3 to Feb 16

Here’s what I’ve heard so far:

-Library and chapel being replaced with an arcade

-cove arts and crafts area being added

-4K rooms are getting windows that don’t open instead of the doors.

-carpets being replaced

-upgrades to Serenity

-WiFi being upgraded

Asked the staff when we sailed in October and was told general maintenance, TLC items.  However, we saw signs of other changes some staterooms had the orange replaced to a blue color along with the curtains and bed skirts.  I hope they add the USB charging port HJ once talked about.

I was hoping John Heald would post something about what is being done during the drydock but I haven't found anything.

Hopefully they fix the sliding roof on Lido if they haven't already done that. I also would like to see them put USB ports in the rooms and upgrade the WiFi.

I recently asked John and this was his response:

 

-    Arcade from deck 4 forward will be moving to deck 3 midship replacing the library and the chapel.
-    Deck 4 forward will be renewd as the THE COVE family room next to Circle C.
-    Public areas beautification. 
-    Tiling and carpeting in most of the public areas
-    Open deck waterpark refurb
-    Serenity upgrade

Ugh, I hope the Arcade is complete for the first cruise back. We will be on it and my son is looking forward to going to the arcade

Completed during dry dock: 2/03/19-2/16/19

• Routine hotel maintenance
• Cosmetic enhancements such as new carpeting and tiling, etc. in lounges and public areas
• Relocated and renovated the Arcade (replaced the chapel and the library)
• The Cove (replaced original location of the arcade)
