cruisequeenbella Posted January 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Cruising out of Dubai port at 11pm the night we board, arriving early morning and transfer to ship all included in package, once we arrive and embark can we then get off the boat a few hours later to visit some places of interest before we set sail that night. Or do we have to stay on board all day because of muster drill, just fancied having a couple of hours off ship once we were sorted with cabins etc.
cruiser man 60 Posted January 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2019 No problem in getting off and many did so. The muster drill was on at 8.30 which was inconvenient as I was watching the football in sports bar and the screens went blank and bar shut!! cruisequeenbella Posted January 28, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted January 28, 2019 That’s great thank you for your quick reply, if it is around 8.30pm for the muster don’t know if we will be eating then think we on 2nd sitting whatever time that starts but sure we will work it out one way or another. framboesa Posted January 29, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2019 We will arrive to dubai 3 days before, and pretend to stay in the city as much as possible, I asked and was told that will be possible to board later. I heard that muster drill happens normally at 8.30 and sometimes 10.30.

What time where you able to embark?
cruiser man 60 Posted January 29, 2019 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2019 We were on ship at 12 noon, check in took about 10 minutes with no queues. Other we met had boarded at 10 am after an overnight flight and transfer on MSC shuttle.
