Upgrade Program

We got an email from NCL about their Upgrade Program where we can bid on a better cabin. We are currently in an inside cabin as we had to re-book so late. They are offering an  upgrade to a balcony cabin but they will not say where it is on the ship. Has anyone had any experience with this?

If your bid wins they will automatically assign you to the cabin of their choice. You do not get to choose where it is, and you can't change your mind and get your old cabin back if you don't like it. It is up to you to decide if that is a risk you want to take.

You will not know where your cabin is until they assign it. It could be in a great location or a poor one. You are gambling on that.

 

You have to weigh if you are willing to take a balcony cabin anywhere on the ship vs. where your inside is located.
