NCL "Free" Airfare Experience

Lots of posts on this, thought I'd add our experience so far.

We purchased the NCL Air for $199/each which was $400 cheaper than we could find flights ourselves - so it worked out for us.

We paid the $50 extra to fly in the day prior and are staying with NCL at their hotel selection near the airport and paid for their transfers

Just got our flight info today - I just kept attempting to print the eDocs until it actually worked today! about 50 days out

We got direct flights with Delta arriving at 11am the day prior.  Our flight leaves at 2pm (so plenty of time to get to airport) after we get off the ship.  I got the confirmation codes on the edocs today to go into Delta and select our seats (which were still pretty good choices left - at least enough to keep my family together albeit at the back of the plane which is fine)

So excited!  This was completely worth the money for us - I realize it's not financially beneficial for all, but wanted to share our experience because there are lots of questions on this subject!

Good luck to all - happy cruising!

I looked at a booking yesterday where the free air offer netted a nice discount of about 20% off on tickets. Still wasn't worth going from sailaway rates on balconies to the lowest priced rate with perks (price doubled from about $450 to about $900 per person for the "free perks" and selecting your own cabin).
