mama_2_boys Posted February 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2019 We are in 6368 and 6370 over Club O2. Will it be noisy at night? Also do cabins above the casino (we are just down from it) ever deal with cigarette smoke smells?
Stacie. Posted February 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2019 I stayed on the forward starboard side (6247) but walked through that hallway a few times and didn't smell any smoke. In fact the only place it was overwhelming was walking past the casino to ClubO2. As far as noise goes, there were not that many teens on the ship when we cruised and anytime we'd pop in to check on our teens it was pretty quiet in there. Our cabin was right above the Amber Palace and we did hear the shows through the floor but our white noise app canceled it out. I'd imagine being above Club O2 would be quieter than listening to an hour of rock or Cubano music.

mama_2_boys Posted March 3, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted March 3, 2019 Anyone else stayed in this area on the Glory or other Conquest class ships.
StarOne1 Posted March 3, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2019 We was in 6399 last year and loved it so much that we rebooked it again this year also. It's basically where you are except on the opposite side of the ship. Not too rocky, not too noisy (although we are not directly above O2), and no we never smelled cigarettes

I'm very curious about noise from Club O2. I've heard conflicting things.
juju17 Posted March 4, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Three years ago we stayed in 6374 and 6372 on the Carnival Glory. We were shocked with the loud music and kids screaming until about 1:00am in the morning. The walls in our room would actually shake. Even during the day they would play movies in Club O2, we could hear each sentence in the movie "Jaws". We contacted guest services the first night to complain. We continued to complain each night due to the fact we had a 2 year old and 2 other children. We ended up speaking to the "hotel manager" and received a credit on our account and a discount on a future cruise as we were so unhappy. These rooms should be only reserved for casino players, since most likely they will be in the casino much of the night, thus missing the loud annoying teen club. Taught us a lesson to always look at the ship's deck plans, because we will always steer clear of Club O2 and other loud music venues.

Not what I wanted to hear. 😞 Unfortunately there were no other rooms that worked for us needing 3 in one and 2 in another. Thank you for the honest information.
