Guest kernfam01 Posted April 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2004 So am I correct that there is no way to find out prices until you get on the ship for carnival shore excursions? I am looking into booking excursions myself, and would like to have something to compare the prices I find to. Thanks!
CCLNCLRCICRUISER Posted April 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2004 This site will give you a general idea of prices. http://www.carnival4me.com/shoretours/index.htm What ship and itinerary are you looking for? Someone might have a copy of a the shore excursion list to give you an even better idea of what is available. tef43 Posted April 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2004 You may email Carnival and requesr a list of shore excursions offered, with prices, for your specific itinerary. Very fast turnaround, within 24 hours. IBEEMOM Posted April 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2004 If you call Carnival and ask to speak to a PVP they will give you a dollar quote for any of the itineraries offered by them. If you have booked a cruise ask for them to send you a brouchure for the tours that are available for that particular cruise. They answer any questions you may have. Guest kernfam01 Posted April 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Thanks all! Isn't that site, carnivalcruise4me, a TA site? I booked the Miracale for w carib. out of Tampa. I guess it is a new route, so I can't really find out from others on that. If I call Carnival, does the brochure they send me have prices?
pungo3 Posted April 9, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 9, 2004 You can call or e-mail carnival. They will e-mail you a complete listing of all excursions for your cruise, including the prices. It usually takes less than 24 hours to receive the listing. afdds Posted April 9, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Hey Everyone, Thought I'd let you know. I just called Carnival this afternoon about the excursions list. They will email me the list, but not the prices. I told the gentleman that the policy must have changed, I received prices with our Dec. cruise. He said I have to narrow it down and call back for prices. He also said they were not happy about this because their phone is ringing all the time for prices. Sounds like someone can up with a crazy idea. 5/23 Victory cruise D. oceantravel Posted April 9, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 9, 2004 What ship are you going on. I have the shore excursions list with prices for the Conquest. What islands are you going on. They can also fax the information to you. stlrboo Posted April 9, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Unfortunately, sometimes the 'Carnival' excursions sold on the ship sell out on a 'first-come, first-served' basis, so you may be better off booking direct. I've been through this before, and a little leg-work on the net may find you some better deals and/or a guarantee, so you don't have to worry about it in port, or the possibility of missing a desired excursion! Happy hunting...
