air tahiti nui flight back to LAX questions

We're going to be picked up at LAX when we get back from our cruise. We are on the 10pm flight that should arrive at 9:10am. My questions are, are those flights usually on time, and how much time should we allow for getting off the plane, getting our luggage and getting through customs. I just don't want anyone having to wait around for a long time (this will be on a Monday morning if that's any help). Thanks!

Got back on ATN to LAX about 3 weeks ago. I've been through customs many times through LAX and it's always been quick, they have a lot of stations open. I'd say it wouldn't take more than an hour to get your bags and get through, maybe less.

stranger1...picked DD up on Friday, who arrived from the UK...took only 1/2 an hour. There are 3 arrival waiting areas A, B & C...make sure your "pick-up" checks the board to see where you will exit.
