Carnival Valor on Feb 28th....

My brother in law is on this cruise. My sis in law tells me today that the ship was delayed in leaving by a full day, due to fog (Galveston)

Anyone know any specifics on this? Just curious, not worried!

If it sailed a day late I am surprised our local Houston media was not all over it.   

I recall JH posting on FB that arrival time at the pier was pushed back an hour and there were no further updates on his page.

I don’t do Facebook, so I can’t access that info (wish I could).....BUT my sis in law now tells me (this morning!) that he called her while waiting for info at the pier, AND that they were finally told that they’d all have to get overnight accommodations, as the ship was definitely not leaving till the next day! 

 

Can you think of anywhere else I can inquire to find out what really transpired?

That just didn't happen. It got in late because of fog and left right around time it was supposed to.

You're right, we left about 4:20 ish, beat the fog out and had a great 9 day cruise.

It came in a little late, but left on time. I was on it.
