Anybody stayed here before? Is it a safe area? We have two kids and are just going to be there to sleep. ANy idea how far it is from MIAMI airport?

The AREA is okay, but the motel is just another tired old dump awaiting the wrecking ball. I would avoid that one, and there's no way that thing is 3-star - Maybe it was 40 years ago, but not today. :eek:

 

It's about an hour or a little more from MIA, much longer during "rush hour".

 

Just a tip... With the sole exception of Pelican Beach Resort, ALL BW's in South Florida are nasty, as are all Days Inn's, Ramadas, and most Comfort Inn's & Suites. You would be wise to avoid all of those as well as anything on or near State Road 84.
