kellymccrea Posted March 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2019 So, I'll be in Antigua on the RCCL Freedom of the Seas in June, and I think we would like to make this a beach day. I haven't seen Dickenson Bay mentioned much lately on this board. I'm aware of the other beaches that seem to be recommended here, but my husband and I honeymooned at Sandals Antigua 9 years ago and we had a room in a building right on the beach which was a wonderful experience for us. We'd like to go back to this area to at least walk down the beach and see where we spent our honeymoon for some photo ops. Is there a good place along Dickenson Bay to at least ask a cab driver to take us or do we just need to say Dickenson Bay and they will know a good place to drop us off? I know Sandals doesn't do day passes which is fine as we don't really want to spend the day at the resort. We'd just like to be close enough to be able to walk to it. Any ideas of places near Sandals where we could direct a cab to take us? Thanks!
Fairgarth Posted March 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2019 You have two options, basically either end of Sandals. I would suggest the Antigua Village parking lot as being the easiest. That is where Ana's is too. The other access is up by Sneaky Pete's.
markn06074 Posted April 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2019 We were just there and seems all the taxi drivers use the same drop off point. VERY close to Sandals....
