Comparisons Between Qm2 & Oriana??

I have sailed on both. Some people do not like big big ships and find QM2 a bit overwhelming (not me I love it) so Oriana could be regarded as "normal size". We liked Oriana greatly, though at the time, about 4 years ago found the food not as good as Cunard, though reports are now that this has improved. She is a lovely ship, not flashy, and the passengers will be more British than American/British as on Cunard.

I ahven't sailed on QM2 yet but made an 18 day Eastern Med cruise on Oriana in 1999.

She's a lovely ship. Very British atmosphere and not a lot of glitz. At that time I was very impressed with food and service. Service in the dining room tends to be more formal. The menu is targeted towards British tastes.

Oriana was a very formal ship with an older crowd. The ship has got lots of small lounges instead of big ones. I loved Anderson's.
