hotel question

any suggestions on which hotel to stay in the night before my sun cruise on 3/18? we'll be driving down (from charleston, wv...sigh) on friday, and expect to arrive in miami around 9pm or so.

We are near Wheeling WV

Not familiar w/ Miami

But after several months of research found our hotel on our own.

It was probably listed somewhere on here, but the hotel we eventually picked wasnt listed here on these boards. Well, to be fair, I never saw it.

Search the threads though, as they gave me the best idea of exactly what I wanted and what I was willing to settle with.

Without this board, I would have just picked a hotel and been done with it. As a result, we are extremely looking forward to the pre cruise hotel stay.

Well which hotel??? There may be a REASON it wasn't listed... There are some horrible scary nasty hideous dumps in Miami that are in neighborhoods you don't want to go into unarmed!

 

If you're not familiar with an area it's always best to go with something the locals recommend, or if you've found something not recommended to ask if there's a problem with that particular hotel. There are a lot of hotels in South Florida that are NOT as they appear on their websites, many take being a dump to a new level! :eek:
