KhaturtleQueen Posted March 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2019 First time cruiser. My husband and I are headed out on Carnival Liberty in June. I keep hearing about theme nights or dress code and I am not sure where to find this information? Is there a place that I should be looking for theme nights or dress code? We are on a 3 night cruise to the Bahamas with 1 port of call (Nassau). Is there a dress code on the ship - say like to go into the casino or to a show? Organized Chaos Posted March 29, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2019 Read through the links to the Carnival FAQ's above. The only time you need to worry about dress code enforcement is in the MDR (Main Dining Room) and/or specialty restaurants. Certain things aren't allowed on typical nights and then Elegant Nights have their own set of rules. The only other rule is when you're in the Lido buffet. Shirts/bathing suit cover-ups and footwear is required. They'll often have a theme night, like the white party, held in the night club. I think they'll usually offer a drink discount for people wearing white. An 80's theme is popular in the night clubs and when the Fun Squad has Lido parties. Enjoy your first!!
