If you can get a room on one of the higher floors you will be able to see some of the port. We were on 4 and could see part of the Caribbean Princess when we woke up in the morning. Our room looked out onto the causeway from one window and onto the very handy Walgreen's across the street!

It's a very nice hotel and I do recommend it.

I can't top the description left by Mollyanne. It's right on!

We stayed on the 6th floor in the same location. It's not as good a view as the view offered from a room at the Marriott, but in my opinion the room, the service, the bed and the linens are a cut above the Marriott. The location of the building for shopping, restaurants and the port is superb!

If you want to get to the beach or Beach Place for $1.00pp., just cross the street to the bus stop and catch the #40 bus that runs every 30 minutes in both directions. If I recall correctly, the cab ran us between $6. to $8. depending on bridge and traffic each time until we got smart enough to bus it. Very, very easy to do.

Have fun!
