bubblesnh Posted March 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Hi All, When I choose a Cabin for our April Bliss sailing I selected a mini suite because we have a 15 yo travelling with us and we wanted him close to the door so he can sleep late and we can get to the balcony in the morning without disturbing him. All of the pictures on the website show the pull out couch near the entryway to the room. After I booked the room I saw a layout drawing showing the couch near the slider to the balcony. Our room is 9208. Does anyone have experience with mini suites? Or this room in particular? Also I have the the same question about H5 rooms. All of the pictures show same pull out couch next to balcony slider. Is this the only layout for H5 rooms? Trying to decide if I bid on upgrade. Thanks! Happy Cruising! Two Wheels Only Posted March 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2019 On Bliss, 9208 probably has the bed near the balcony and the sofa-bed near the bathroom since it is shown to sleep 4. It's also a connecting stateroom with 9206. For the mini-suite category on BA/BA Plus ships, if the stateroom sleeps 4, the bed is near the balcony. If it sleeps 3, most are bed near closet. There are some mini-suites that sleep 3 and have the bed near the balcony (no pullman). With your preference, a "sleeps 4" will have the sofa-bed near the closet and the bed near the balcony. I'm not sure about the H5 but I believe that the sofa-bed is near the balcony. You can still access the balcony without disturbing the person sleeping on the sofa-bed, though.
